Refund Policy

1. Overview

At YourOwnGynec OPD (also known as GynecMD Clinic), we strive to provide the highest quality of care to every patient. We understand that circumstances may arise where a refund is warranted. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be issued.

2. Consultation Fee Refunds

  • Cancellation before appointment: If you cancel your appointment at least 4 hours before the scheduled time, any advance payment made will be refunded in full.
  • No-show: If you fail to attend your appointment without prior notice, the consultation fee is non-refundable.
  • Clinic-initiated cancellation: If your appointment is cancelled by the clinic due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., doctor unavailability or emergency), a full refund will be issued or the appointment will be rescheduled at no additional cost.
  • After consultation: Consultation fees are non-refundable once the consultation has been conducted, as the medical service has been rendered.

3. Procedure & Surgery Refunds

  • Pre-procedure cancellation: If a scheduled procedure or surgery is cancelled by the patient at least 48 hours before the scheduled date, any advance payment will be refunded after deducting applicable administrative charges (up to 10% of the total advance).
  • Cancellation within 48 hours: Cancellations made within 48 hours of a scheduled procedure may be subject to a 25% cancellation charge on the advance amount, as operating room time and resources will have already been reserved.
  • Clinic-initiated cancellation: If a procedure is cancelled by the clinic or doctor for medical or logistical reasons, a full refund of the advance amount will be provided.
  • Post-procedure: Fees for procedures and surgeries that have been completed are non-refundable. If you have concerns about the outcome, please contact us to discuss follow-up care.

4. Diagnostic & Lab Test Refunds

  • Once a diagnostic test, ultrasound, or lab investigation has been performed, the charges are non-refundable.
  • If a test is cancelled before it is conducted, a full refund will be issued.
  • In case of technical errors requiring a repeat test, the re-test will be conducted at no additional charge to the patient.

5. Online Payment Refunds

  • If you have made an advance payment online (via UPI, credit/debit card, or net banking) and are eligible for a refund, the refund will be processed to the original payment method.
  • Refunds for online payments may take 7–10 business days to reflect in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider.
  • In case of a failed transaction where the amount has been debited but the booking was not confirmed, the amount will be automatically refunded within 5–7 business days. If not, please contact us with the transaction details.

6. Non-Refundable Items

The following are strictly non-refundable:

  • Consultation fees after the consultation has been completed
  • Procedure and surgery fees after the service has been rendered
  • Diagnostic and lab test fees after tests have been conducted
  • Medications or medical supplies once dispensed
  • No-show appointment fees

7. How to Request a Refund

8. Disputes

If you are unsatisfied with the resolution of your refund request, you may escalate the matter by writing to us at yourowngynec@gmail.com with the subject line "Refund Dispute." We are committed to resolving all disputes amicably and in a timely manner.
